About the Workshop

The AI-native Connected Mobility (ACM) workshop addresses the co-design of artificial intelligence and communication systems for connected mobility. Vehicles, roadside units, and edge-cloud platforms increasingly operate as intelligent, cooperative agents, requiring integrated sensing, communication, and distributed intelligence. ACM'27 brings together researchers and practitioners at the intersection of AI, vehicular communication, and mobility systems. The workshop emphasizes practical and scalable methods for AI-native connected mobility systems. Accepted workshop papers will be published in the IEEE CCNC 2027 Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore.

Topics of Interest

We welcome contributions that explore the design, deployment, and optimization of AI-native systems for connected mobility, with a focus on how communication and intelligence are co-designed to support safe, cooperative, and scalable transportation systems. Topics of Interest include (but are not limited to):

1. AI and Foundation Models for Connected Mobility

  • LLMs and VLMs for connected mobility platforms
  • Semantic reasoning over V2X messages and sensor streams
  • Communication-efficient inference and split execution
  • AI for driver interaction, planning, and decision support

2. Cooperative Perception and Networked Decision-Making

  • V2V, V2I, and V2N cooperative perception
  • Multimodal fusion across vehicles and infrastructure
  • Real-time sensing-communication-compute pipelines
  • Integrated sensing and communication for mobility

3. Infrastructure and Protocols for Scalable Mobility AI

  • AI-native protocol and cross-layer design
  • Learning-based scheduling and resource orchestration
  • Vehicle-edge-cloud AI workload orchestration
  • 6G and wide-area connectivity for mobility systems

Submission Guidelines

The ACM'27 workshop is part of the IEEE CCNC 2027 workshop program. Prospective authors are invited to submit high-quality original technical papers for presentation at the workshop and publication in the IEEE CCNC 2027 Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore. Submit via EDAS. All submissions should be written in English and follow IEEE conference format (two-column, 10-point font, US Letter). Maximum paper length is 6 pages, including figures and references. Up to 3 additional pages are allowed in the camera-ready version, with an over-length charge of US$100 per page. Papers exceeding 9 pages will not be accepted by EDAS. An author of each accepted paper must register for the workshop and present the paper at ACM'27. Download CFP flyer (PDF).
